Under assignments, we will have travel mandatories for staff to fill out and the travel checklist to be completed prior to departure. Staff must fill out their proposed travel destination and when they're travelling as it will custom their cyber notifications for that specific location as well as set them reminders of when they should be doing things prior to their departure.

1 week prior to their departure, staff members must complete their cyber travel checklist. This checklist is mandatory as it will ensure them that they will be at their most cyber safe during their travels. Additionally, it provides a good checklist to ensure that staff members have done everything they need to do in terms of their cyber behaviour prior to departure.

Having a calendar that is visible and accessible will allow staff members to be cyber prepared for their work trips.

RMIT staff will also receive canvas notifications on their phones and desktops when they're traveling. From user testings, staff indicated that they wanted constant reminders, notifications and warning alerts when travelling. These notifications will be targeted to the specific area that they are in. For example Singapore. Hence why staff members need to indicate their proposed travel locations. Above are some examples of what staff could receive. Staff members will have the opportunity to customize how many notifications they want to be experiencing, as we've realised that overwhelming staff members with information isn't always the best approach. The personal notifications will hopefully allow staff members to be cyber safe whilst they're on the go and through their travels.
